PROJECT: “CHALKBOARD”

Project “Chalkboard” places an emphasis on education for underprivileged children in a cross-section of communities throughout Belize City. In 2008, Project “Chalkboard” provided 12 children from Belize City with the following: 1. Annual tuition 2. Feeding program fees 3. School Supplies (including an atlas, dictionary, school bag, notebooks, writing tools, etc.) 4. Uniforms 5. Shoes & Socks.

PROJECT: “WISHLIST”

Project “Wishlist” is one of our latest and biggest on-going projects. Wishlist entails the improvement and development of the ten schools that we have affiliated ourselves with. In building a rapport with the Principals of these schools from project “Chalkboard” we have requested from each of them a “wishlist”. This entails large projects such as school improvements (extra classrooms, bathrooms, etc.) to smaller projects such as photo copier machine, desk, whiteboards, etc. Currently our task is prioritizing these requests and to see how much of it is feasible and at what cost.

As a result of this determination, a master plan is being developed for each school. HWH intends to help each school with the support of the community.
